A day at HDB and IMM


Went as early as 9.30am for our appointment. Yes, our first appointment to sell our flat. Our love nest of 5 yrs has partially, officially belonged to someone else. Thats ok.

Alot of things have changed with HDB now. Our appt session took a real long time. By the time we finished it was lunch time. Finished about 1.30pm to be exact. We were famished. So many signing of papers to do. Our case was a little complicated coz we took a bank loan for our flat. Yes, DUMB la. You know at that time of marriage, where everything is so rushing, it was just too much for us to handle. With insufficient cash amount, we had to opt for a bank loan. And our agent also conned us. Not only that... we also did not do our home work properly.

But this time round, we did our homework properly and opt for HDB loan. I think we should move to our new place by end of Nov if our calculations are right. I hope HDG will make everything smooth. Thanks to HDG.

After settling the HBD stuffs, we made our way to IMM Jurong... I think this is the first time I am going to IMM... not sure if I am right but the place looks the least familiar to me.

IMM has a lot of household things. From renovation hubs to furniture shopping to electrical stuffs. Yes. We made some casual checks with renovation contractors. We quite like Chew Interior. Very sleek designs... we got sme quotations from them. After that went shopping for aircon. We thought of having aircon for the living room... but still contemplating! as there is no barrier between the living room and the kitchen....
