I wonder ................


I was on my way home yesterday night.... Usually I walk from the MRT station to my mom's place. It was growing to be quite dark I should say. From far I could see an Indian couple. It was quite clear that they are quarelling about someting. The man was shouting at the wife. It was quite loud I should say. The poor lady was carrying a toddler in her arms. He was holding a black can in his hand and it should be beer I am sure. He was looking quite drunk tough or rather very. He kept pushing the lady backward despite she holding the baby in her arms. They were washing their dirty linens in public. Free show man!

At this very point of time, I feared for the baby. The baby was crying too. One more push and the lady was gonna fall onto the road with the baby in her arms. And as anticipated, she did. The lady picked herself and up continued to fight with the man in between her sobs. The poor child was wailing away but none of them turned their attention to the poor child. The child just continued to cry and cry.

If I were the child's mother, i will not fight with the child in my arms. I fear for the baby's safety.

Sometimes i wonder if god is still listening to what we say!!! Why do people like them need a child??

5 yrs down the road!


5 yrs of marriage...

Marriage is the joining of two bodies and two minds
Past mistakes are unwanted and better left behind
From this day forth you must take care of each other
You’ll learn to draw strength each day from one another

The first year is hardest but you must learn to adapt
Find your middle ground and the rest will work out
It’s a beautiful journey if you are dedicated
Time is your friend and will keep you educated

Learn from mistakes and heed this advice
Never bring them up and never try them twice
Appreciate each other and be verbally kind
Each day when the sun sets leave your anger behind

As your journey progresses and the children arrive
Remember to keep your marriage alive
Your children will grow up and leave the nest
Make sure your marriage doesn’t die from loneliness

By following these words you’ll find marriage is bliss
And you’ll find there is no better place than this
Home is meant to be your soft place to fall
And the love you project will envelope it all.........

New Home


Last friday we attended the first appointment for buying over our new house. Yes. 7th November 2008. The keys will be officially handed over on the 9th of December.
