Soorya = Versatility


He can easily be called the late bloomer of Tamil cinema. Despite a formidable film background, he struggled hard to find his feet in the industry. From the gentle lover boy roles in Nerukku ner, Poovellam kettuppar and Mounam pesiyadhey, prodigal son in Nanda, sentimental comedy in Pithamagan, Perazhagan and Mayavi, the strapping cop in Kakka kakka, the idealistic youth in Aytha ezhuthu and the suave lover in Ghajini prove that Surya is a talented actor whose forte is versatility. He has worked with some of the big names in the industry but success sits lightly on his shoulders.
